Two medical writers to join the team

HPM is pleased to announce the arrival of Vanessa Gray-Schopfer and Ron Hogg to the medical writing team.

Dr Gray-Schopfer has previous experience as an associate program manager in the strategic publications planning department of Excerpta Medica, a medical communications company, where she was involved in a large publication plan on haematological malignancies. She read molecular biology at University College London and studied for a PhD in pigment cell biology at St George’s Hospital, University of London.

Dr Hogg recently held the position of Maître de Enseignement et de Recherche at the University of Geneva where he taught cardiovascular medicine and neurology. He has published over 40 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has written articles on receptor pharmacology, nicotine dependence, epilepsy and pain. Ron Hogg studied biochemistry at the University of Strathclyde (UK) and obtained a PhD in pharmacology from the University of London in cardiovascular medicine.

The two new writers bring with them many years of experience in publication and research.
